 You both can try this and see how you go... Try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version.... Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11 Then uninstall Limewire using the uninstaller which is found in start > all programs > limewire...then re-install it using the offline installer...To find the offline installer, use the link below > cancel the installer window when it pop's up and then select the offline installer link... | Once you have that done and you see a wall in front of the globe, could you tell me the make and model number for your modem/router, to find this info, turn it upside down and you will see the info I need...  Gingernation14...Could you tell me also what Security programs you are using...

| What that java app did for me was widen the gui page So I could see all the options for finishing the install setup. (I think I described it right correct me if im wrong id like to know.) After The screen that says Check firewall settings, I pressed the space bar and contiued to the point where is says enable filtering, I dont think it wouldve mattered if I check it or not, but clicking the space bar I noticed the next screen sayed finish installation setup and thats where I noticed more of the bottom screen was visible. I clicked on finish and it finished the installation and lime wire was up and running. Thanks for your help. |
