Dear ********,
Thank you for your email. We do not specifically target ports that Peer-To-Peer clients or networks may use in an attempt to block their usage. If you are having difficulty using a P2P client you may need to check which ports and protocols they are using and make sure any firewalls or routers you may be using have these ports allowed or open. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact a Customer Service representative at 1-800-236-1704 or email us and we would be happy to assist you further. For your convenience, your local Customer Service call center is now open 24 hours a day, seven days a week to answer any questions you may have at any time. Thank you, Matt Customer Care Rep. Time Warner Cable Northeast Wisconsin Division so now what should i do? |

The last people I'd ask about using P2P software is my ISP. Why? Because they can log your IP and when the RIAA comes a-calling with court subpoenas for logging records, they can put two and two together and figure out that DJ C Blizzard has been downloading music and not paying royalties. Hello, lawsuit! Can you say "Jammie Thomas"?
You don't think they're not watching you now, do you?? What should you do now? I know what I'd do: I'd not use any P2P software for one helluva long time. |

We always recommend Peerguardian (FREE) as a major aid toward preventing agencies, etc. accessing your computer whilst you are online. I highly recommend it.
![]() AFAIK time warner do not block p2p programs. ![]() If you have a connection problem, then the cause is probably somewhere else. Perhaps your router or software firewall, etc. |
