Hello! I've never posted to this forum before, but I'm needing some help so why not ask! Anyway I'm a huge fan of Limewire, but my problem begins when I type a name to search....It acts as if it is searching and takes its time, but no information comes up....I'm very confused and I have never experienced any problems with this program until now.
If anyone could be of any assistance to me I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks, cs321 |

Is LW connected properly (all green/blue connection bars)? If you're connected, try these fixes.
1. In LW go tools > options > searching > basic & check whether the 'show license warning' box is ticked. If it does, untick it > Apply > ok...see if that makes any difference. 2. Delete LW's preferences folder when LW's properly closed. See point 3 here & also point 2 if you've used older versions of LW in the past (there could be a folder in either location). Fixes for LimeWire This will kill all of your settings within options, you'll have to go back through afterwards & reset things. Yeah i am connected but i dont think im connected properly
because the bars are all red with 1 green one (the smallest 1)Im not very good at anything to do with computers so if you know how i can fix this that would be great.![]() Thanks

Oh and i thought i'd let you know that the songs that i chose to download yesterday from the search results i got are all still downloading fine just i cant get any search results today???

Having Red connection bars means your not fully connected. Possibly a Firewall Problem.
