Hello forum,
I'd really appreciate some help please. I've been using Limewire successfully for three years on my home PC. I'm currently using my lap-top, running XP Pro, java 6, update 3, limewire Pro and Java Access Bridge which enables LImewire to interact with JAWS, a screen reader for the blind. Limewire has been successfully installed, and is working fine for sighted users; the test recommended in the forums comes back, "the test works". However, when I install Java Access bridge, Limewire then says that some files are missing or invalid and that I should reinstall.. However, this issue only occurs when access bridge is installed; Limewire works fine if I uninstall Java Access bridge. This is quite perplexing as I have used Limewire quite successfully with Jaws, and access bridge on my home machine, whose only difference is that its running XP Home. As I said, any help would be greatly appreciated. Just using the standard windows firewall; but as i said, all works fine with connection and search features, until I install Java Access bridge, so JAWS will read the screen for me. |

I don't know if this is going to help (sounds like a different issue)...this other poster found that their LW wouldn't run at all when using Java Access Bridge. Check out these threads anyway, there might be something to help.
