yea it happened to me and i did lose my pro version its stupid. so i pretty much wont bother with anymore limewire lol. i figured that's what happened tho. thanx for the help.

You have a virus, so it's best to get rid of it, even if you do not choose to use limewire anymore...

Follow these steps to get rid of the worm...

hey i tried doing what u said and i get the load part and everything but when it comes to the part at the end where it tries "heuretics" the program (brute force) stops responding and will not complete. Also the file extension ".bfu" for the script doesn't show up i have to look for it in my file directory under "All Files" when im in the folder. Any thoughts? ideas? i really need to get this stuff off my computer i have laods of important information i need to save and can't make a backup for them. please help thanx in advance.

Your best bet is to go to one of these forums and get some pro advice on this, explain to them what you have tried, they will know about the BFU fix...
Good luck and let us know what they do tell you to do, so next time we can advise others...
