Hi im new here. I tried everything and I still get "limewire is currently connecting to the network" message.

when i open up my c:/ and go to documents and settings there is no limewire folder there...we found this out by opening up my husband's limewire and found a limewire folder under document and settings....when i go to programs the limewire folder is there.....could that be the problem and can i copy his folder and put it into my document and settings???

i tried everything.....do me a favor go and look under your documents and settings and see if there is a limewire folder....i'm just curious to see if i'm the only one that doesn't have it there....

^ I only had 1 Limewire folder that looked like this, .limewire, which i deleted. When i went to my Application Date folder(step 4) to delete "Limewire" foler i didn't see one.

well.....i never did have a folder that look like that.....i don't know....i've been using limewire for years and love it!!!! never did have any problems til i redid my system.....

OMG......i put in my husband guntella file under documents-settings-nita-appliactions-limewire
(which is hidden) go to: zSHARE - gnutella.net......get a new gnutella file delete it and replace it with a new one...restart limewire.....i hope it works.....

i put my husband gnutella.net file into mine...and it worked!!!
now he wants to know why it worked....
