Default I still can't get connected... it's been 6 days!

Hi...

Like Matt, my name is Michael. I also have a wireless router - Lynksys. It works fine. I can get my e-mail, go to other sites, etc. I use XP home version. In fact, I had been using and downloading music over a week ago, then my connection with LimeWire wouldn't connect. Now, after following "STICKY's" and BIRDY's" instructions, I still can't connect.

I love the site but I have no idea why this will not "re-connect"???

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hi Lanita...

Did you ever hear anything? I've been having the same frustration. I had been using LimeWire just fine a little over a week ago... now nothing! It's driving me crazy too, because it's such a good site. Can anyone help on getting "Re-Connected"?

Michael

Hi Lanita...

I guess Misery loves Company, huh?
Yeah, I don't understand it either... and I guess what I REALLY don't understand, is why the computer gurus at LimeWire aren't hot on the trail? I checked other sites, and can pass this along:
What You Install With Kazaa v 3.2.5(free version)
 •
Kazaa - this is the main application that lets you search for, download and share files.
TopSearch - this displays quality, digitally rights managed files (marked with Gold Icons) in search results. Powered by Altnet.
Altnet Peer Points Manager – this is a rewards application for sharing files marked with Gold Icons. Includes Need2Find Tool bar, Joltid P2P Networking & Altnet Peer Points Components.
BullGuard P2P - BullGuard P2P provides virus protection when using Kazaa.
Advertising - delivered by Cydoor.
InstaFinder - Provides alternative websearch results when browsing.
 • RX Toolbar - an internet browser toolbar that displays relevant website links in your browser.
I've used it before with great results. I guess I'm holding out a little longer for LimeWire, before I have to uninstall... but "Yes Lineta, there really is a Santa Clause (Kazaa)!"

Michael
