Default Does BTinternet block Limewire?

Have been using limewire for a few years on my desktop (vista hp) and laptop (xp) and all worked fine, last week i decided i would to a clean reinstall of both operating systems and have installed the latest limewire but all i get now is Limewire Enabling on both systems, i have even installed an older version of limewire and still get the same result, have tried most things on the site even turning firewall, anti virus off but still no joy. I can only think that BT must be blocking me from connecting?

BT (British Telecoms) have always blocked P2P applications, some people have claimed that they are not blocked but a great majority of BT users are "Bandwidth Shaped", aka blocked.

Vista is a problem, I have been trying for nearly two week to connect my son's Vista PC to my wireless modem and the Internet, I was at the point of uninstalling the modem's software and Vista's communications.

However, just over 10 minutes ago my son told me he has an Internet connection on his PC. I am not sure how (I did tinker with the modem) but I am glad he has connections even if I cannot come up with a rational explanation of how it happened. I guess I will have to talk to my colleagues who have Vista networks at home when I get back to work in the new year.
