Limewire 2.1.3,,,connecting problems
I just download the program. It won't connect nor let me manually enter hosts.
Per "Frequently Asked Questions" I ran the "telnet 64.61.25.171.6346" and I was not able to connect. Is there something I can do to go around that or any advise what I should do? Thanks

conection probs
i am new to this and do not know anything about firewalls and telnet. can anyone explain why i cannot connect in plain english???

Same for me. "Gnutella OK" shows when I run the prescribed check, but I can't connect. The connect function does nothing. Anyone get it to work? If so, how?

I returned to 1.7 and am now enjoying downloads, where the latest release failed to connect at all.
