Help my direct connect prob please!
Hello,
I am experiencing difficulties when I am trying to connect to my buddy's computer. I keep on getting an error message: could not browse host. We both have the firewalls turned off and have done the true/false test with true being the result for the both of us. 'Your test worked!' also worked for the both of us. I am using Win XP and my buddy is using Win 98 SE. He also has a router, I don't know if he is using port forwarding or UPnP. We are both using broadband and are both experienced with using LW. I am using LW 4.14.12 and he is using version 4.14.10 and we both live in Canada. Please help! It will be greatly appreciated! Thanx
