To aid helpers in solving download/upload problems, LimeWire and Frostwire users must specify whether they are downloading a torrent file or a file from the Gnutella network. These volunteers keep the board organized and moving. Moderators are authorized to: (in order of increasing severity) Move posts to the correct forums. Many times, members post in the wrong forum. These off-topic posts may impede the normal operation of the forum. Edit posts. Moderators will edit posts that are offensive or break any of the House Rules. Delete posts. Posts that cannot be edited to comply with the House Rules will be deleted. Restrict members. This is one of the last punishments before a member is banned. Restrictions may include placing all new posts in a moderation queue or temporarily banning the offender. Ban members. The most severe punishment. Three or more moderators or administrators must agree to the ban for this action to occur. Please do not respond directly to the member - a moderator will do what is required. 8.  I upgrade each time you have a new Limeware. Right now I have Limewire 4.16.0 Each time I start it the bottom bar goes back and forth untill it gives me an error message. I can't even send it. I have to discard it. The older version worked perfect. This one is giving me hell. When it did start it wouldn't have any of the D/L. Not even in incomplete. I copied the error message it gave me. | Oh...and it kept gaving me another error message that I had upteen uploads. And was I sure I wanted to do that. So I stoped the Upload to see if it made a difference..NO, it didn't.

| hi my name is kia and i've used limewire plenty of times before but now its givin me a hard time i downloaded it yesterday and i only have one green bar and its not letting me download anything at all...can somebody anybody please help me i would really really appreciate it.... |

| Save yourself a headache I just experienced exactly the same thing.....see my post .."invisible firewall"..somethings fishy going on here... get frostwire...its free and is exactly like limewire pro! I installed it and got a turbo connection with my trend micro firewall on in seconds!! I've uninstalled limewire but kept the installer app for later experimenting... |
