If you're sure that you've done all of those things correctly ( with LW properly closed & restart afterwards), try the fixes below. The post's really old but a couple of people have recently found that it's fixed their problem. For those who can't connect Frostwire users: Even though the fixes refer to LW, it's all the same for FW.
If nothing there helps, pleeeease post your system details. Otherwise, how can we help you if we don't know anything about your setup? You'll find a link to system details in the 'will not connect' thread...that explains which details we need. Ladychud, Even though you can connect sometimes, if you give us your details then we might be able to help with that. Atlantic78, When you post your details, could you also list all of the fixes that you've tried so far? | I just tried the second "help" link to no success. I even tried until 4:30 in the morning messing with limewire, following your guy's ideas and suggestions and changed ports, proxy's and sock a few times.
Any other ideas?? Is there a way to check what the server/provider is without doing any asking? I mean, if I go to the tech support here at the college...they might start wondering why. *sigh* I'm exhausted.
