In limewire Links (below) click on (systems details) and fill in as much as you can and post back here. With regards to Firewalls - you would be better off disabling windows firewall and using macafee firewall -- add limewire as an exception - also check out these Links (If LW will not connect) (LW troubleshooting)

In Limewire Links [below] click on (If LW will not connect) and work your way through these fixes -- if that dont work try (connection problems) also (LW Troubleshooting) finally if still not working click on (system details) and fill in as much as you can and post back here . Also tell us what you have done so far to try and get it working.
