I have firewall problems with LimeWire

ok so i've searched this site for answers to firewall problems i've been having with limewire. here's the deal, everytime i connect to limewire, the little firewall icon shows up, indicating that there's a firewall blocking my connection. i can't seem to make it go away. i have gone to the control panel and turned off the firewall. that didnt help. i turned on the firewall and went to add limewire as an exception. that didnt work either. i have uninstalled limewire and reinstalled it. didnt work. i have even restarted my comp. didnt work either. so im pretty frustrated right now. by the way i have microsoft windows xp. can anyone help me? i would greatly appreciate it!

There is probably a firewall in your router or modem. Please read the Sticky threads in this forum for more help and if not successful then post your system details.

I have zone alarm firewall ..and when I run limewire.. it shows up to.. the brick wall .. but I can still download movies.. Are you able to download at all?.. and check your settings..

I also have Trend Micro PC- cillin Internet Security 2007. any suggestions.
