I'm new & need help connecting...Please help!!!

Hi! I'm new to the boards but i've been using Limewire for about a year and it all of a sudden stopped connecting...I need help/advice on how to get it to connect, but I may need some of you to dumb it down for me because I've read other posts about connecting but everyone uses these big words or computer terms and i don't know what they mean...Please help! I have Windows XP

Have you downloaded some new software recently which could cause this In Limewire Links (below) click on (If LW will not connect) and go through these fixes -- if yr problem still remains click on (system details) and fill in as much as you can and post back here -- also have a look at the other links (connection problems) --- if you have any problems understanding anything dont hesitate to ask and I will try and help you through it
