 1st - Hiya and Welcome ! Weirdness, hmmm ? Thinking... You don't have some 'cap' on your connection imposed by your Internet Service Provider, do you ? Crazy, right ? Or, maybe you are at university and there is some new 'regime' re: usage ? Not impossible. Have you been using LimeWire before with no problems and this is a new problem ? Have you installed any new software recently ? Does your internet connection function normally with all other activities and the problem is ONLY with LimeWire ? and, er... It will speed things up for you if you 'will in the form' for us... Click on > System details - Help us help you > Provide these details when you post ! which you will find in my signature below.
