I am new to this forum. I have been using Limewire for quite some time but have recently had a temperamental problem with connection: sometimes Limewire connects straigtaway, but now it just shows "Limewire enabling", "you are currently connecting to the network". Only the smallest connection quality band is green and it shows there is a firewall detected. However, this problem only occurs now and again; sometimes Limewire will connect without showing the firewall detected(?), and without me altering anything! I have uninstalled and reinstalled Limewire a number of times; set the Norton personal firewall setting to allow Limewire, and had checked the Windows firewall to allow Limewire through (although I have now switched off the Windows firewall) - all still to no avail. Also, even when my Limewire does occasionally connect and work, I can never get my wife's Limewire to work on her Vista account, on the same computer at all. It seems to be a setting problem but I don't undersatnd why sometimes I can connect but at othertimes I can't, without me doing anything. Any suggestions gladly received

i too, am having the same problems. when i look at my connections tab it's blank, what is going in?
