Stuck on starting connection???

Hello, I really need some help with this. I installed limewire pro on my windows xp. It was working- turbo connection but now it is stuck on starting connection. I have tried so many things but it continues not to work. I have limewire listed as an exception on my firewall, port 6346 is also another exception. I am using a router but dont understand how lw worked but then stopped????? please assist me with fixing this. I miss the music..lol!

I'm having the same problem. It was working two weeks ago, and now I can't establish a connection. I've even tried completely shutting down my norton security and it still stays on starting connection.

I was able to get my connection working again after doing so more searching. Try the following, it worked for me.

I am haveing this same problem. LimeWire, was working perfect. My fire wall is allowing full access to the internet for LW. I bought LimeWire Pro. Installed it. Now my LW pro is not working. Keeps d/c. Never connects keeps getting dissconnected.

1. I am running Windows Vista 32 bit. I do have administrator access and I have LW granted administrator access.
2. Windows Firewall. And McAfee ?
3. I have 4 gb of RAM?
4. 118 GB free Hard Disk space available
5. Cable: Time Warner RoadRunner
6. Motorola, SURFboard, Model#SB5101
7. I am trying to connect from my HOUSE.
8. LimeWire 4.16.7 Pro. Jave 1.6.0-oem
9. Time Warner cable is my ISP.
10. I did the web page test. And it said IT WORKED:TEST WORK
11. I am not shareing this cpu with any other p2p network/program.
12. This is the first time I encounter this problem. LW been working fine up till a few days ago.

14. I am not useing a modem router.
15. I am useing Virus protection, Spyware protection, SystemGuards, WindowsProtections, PC Health, Firewall Protection, Phishing Protection, Identity Protection.l
