Intermittant connectivity
I am experiencing a connectivity issue that I ask for guidence in solving. Limewire will sometimes connect to the gnutella network, and other times it will detect a firewall. I have waited, for hours on occasion, for it to connect with no avail. In actuallity I am running a firewall on my PC (nVidia firewall, Windows firewall disabled) and on my DSL router, however even after I disable the firewall on my PC and my router's firewall is set to DMZPlus mode (details below) I still am not connecting. Any assistence with this matter would be greatly appreciated.
System OS : Windows XP SP2 x64 edition (2GB of RAM, 993,~ available while idling with Limewire running) DSL Firewall Current Settings: Custom Device Allowed Applications Application Type Protocol Port Number(s) Public IP karnaaj All - (all) (all) 75.57.185.18 Last edited by karnaaj419; May 10th, 2008 at 07:39 AM.
