I have been having problems connecting like everyone else. I tried everything I could find in this forum and other various places around the internet and nothing worked. I finally gave up and tried downloading a spin off of Limewire called Frostwire, and everything works fine..plus you have a "turbo charged" connections without upgrading. Just thought I'd throw that out there. So, if your sick of ****ing around with Limewire try the other one!

Actually, if you tried to open LW now you may find it connects. That's happened for many people. FrostWire seems to help it connect. However FW is not always problem free, they've had their own periods of no connections due to their settings that came with program. But both programs are very similar.

Yeah, I'm not saying one is better than the other, I just thought I would give some people a different option...other than staring at limewire waiting for it to connect or doing a bunch of other stuff like uninstalling and this and that until limewire is functional again
