![]() I've updated to Limewire Pro 4.18 and now I can't connect to the server. I get all the standard connection 'features' as described in the help section of Limewire such as the one bar and Connecting message but it doesn't do anything after that. I have deleted and re-added the Limewire.Exe file to my security software. I have got Grisoft AVG (the full package) on the PC in question and Limewire worked before I did the upgrade. I am told to add the listening port to my security SW but I can't find anywhere to add it. For good measure I have even disabled the firewall to see if that made any difference and it didn't (don't try this at home folks!!) Any clues |

![]() I had the same problem. First uninstall Limewire..... The correct way to uninstall is Start > All programs > Limewire/Uninstaller Then do a files and folders search for limewire and delete them all. Then download from the official Limewire site. Problem solved........for me anyway. Last edited by wondering why; August 19th, 2008 at 06:20 PM. Reason: Needed to correct the uninstall procedure |
