But do you see a Brick wall at bottom of LW's interface? If yes, that means people will struggle to upload from you, and at times you may have connection problems in future.

Simple solution should then be to turn off your Windows firewall. Go to Control panels, double-click on Windows Firewall, check the disable box.

Then for your other firewall:

1. Check the Windows system tray (usually located in the bottom-right corner of the screen, next to the time), and locate the icon associated with your security program. Right-click the icon to enter the settings.
2. Locate a section for adding exceptions for specific programs.
3. Add LimeWire as an exception (C:\Program Files\LimeWire\LimeWire.exe by default on most Windows systems)

* Oops perhaps I misread the posts above, I thought you were running two firewalls. Well, configure whichever one you are using to allow LW through.

Sometimes when installing a new version of LW, you need to remove the old firewall rule for LW & re-add a fresh one. For some firewalls, you also need to do this when updating the firewall software.
