And if I did not make it obvious in my ramblings, the problem is still not fixed....

I would go for a higher number something between 49152 up to 65535...

From what I can see from the screen shot of your router you still have two different numbers there...

I will give you the instructions for a different Westell model (I can't find any for the one you are using) It suggests to do a static IP, I just assumed that you had already done this as you mentioned port forwarding for your xbox...If you have never set up a static IP for your computer you will have to do this step, you only have to do this just the once...

These instructions also show you how to do that, although there not the ones for your router they will give you an idea of what the process is...

Port Forwarding for the Westell A90-327W15-06

Default What do I type for the Base Hostport?

Well, I will try and create a new rule...

You said to use the same number. Lets say 50424...

So when I create the rule I will type in the following:

Check mark - Port forwarding (not port triggering)
Protocol - I can choose TCP, UDP, or Both. Im assuming I choose BOTH?
GLobal Portstart - 50424
Global Portend - 50424
Base Hostport - ? (should it be again 50424?)
Direction - In or Out?
- If Out, it gives me the option of Port Direction: DST or SRC?

Thanks...looking forward to having this fixed. You are being a big help...

You said to use the same number. Lets say 50424... Sounds good

So when I create the rule I will type in the following:

Check mark - Port forwarding (not port triggering) Yes port forwarding
Protocol - I can choose TCP, UDP, or Both. Im assuming I choose BOTH? both...
GLobal Portstart - 50424 yes
Global Portend - 50424 yes
Base Hostport - ? (should it be again 50424?) yes....
Direction - In or Out? In
- If Out, it gives me the option of Port Direction: DST or SRC?

Once you have done that make sure you change the number for Manual Port Forward in lime as well as the Listening port to 50424 and select apply then ok....
