Looks to me like the Motorola. Some devices do not have reliable UPnP which allows a program to request a port be opened for it.
1. First and most important step in port forwarding is setting up a Static ip: Setting up Static ip for VISTA
2. Follow these directions for your router: Port Forwarding for the Motorola SBG 900
It will also be worth checking thru these suggestions: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...t-connect.html eg: having less incompletes will help stop flooding your router with files trying to connect whilst LW is attempting to connect. The other suggestions about disabling OOB & Performance settings also may help.
* Keep in mind that with each new update of Norton or LW, you may need to remove the previous LW firewall setting & re-add it to Norton's firewall. Also, the newest version LW is best with new preferences folder, not using the older one.
* If you are using LW on more than one computer, then they will need to connect & listen via different ports. Routers tend to reserve one port per computer. |
