 Updated, now can't connect ok, so i've been using limewire on this computer for over a year, i just updated, now i cant connect. I've been screwing around for a few days, and still can't figure it out. Someone pleeeaase help me!!! here are my details: 1. Windows Vista... I have the only account 2. Firewall is Norton 3. I'm not sure how much ram i have, nor where to check 4. 47.2 GB free hard disk space 5. cable connection 6. motorolla cable modem model sbv5120 and linksys router model wrt54g 7. connecting from my house 8. i have limewire 4.18.8 and java 1.6.0_07 9. my isp is optimum online 10. i did the test, and it just said "your test worked" 11. two other computers are connected to the router. both through a wired connection, one occasionally wireless 12. i've had limewire for years. 1 year on this computer. never had a problem until i upgraded to this new version 13. i see a brick wall in front of the globe 14. i have no idea if my modem and router is upnp or port forwarding, nor do i know where to check 15. i am using norton internet security and protection center 16. i am living in the USA 17. updated limewire  |
