I see many people are having trouble with getting rid of the limewire firewall and the evil red bars
i found a solution from a forum of a more advanced site, its states that all u have to do is in your search files program, type in 'gnutella.net'...any files that appear need to be deleted... i done this about 15 minutes ago and it worked a treat...i was having the same problem as i had also turned off all firewalls on my computer... i dnt know what the cause is, but i just know this solution works let me know how it goes mcdivvy, United Kingdom |

Not So Mcdivvy, Your More Advanced Site, LOL Is Full of BullSh!t.
You have to have a "Gnutella.Net" File to Connect. I just tested your Theory on my sons LW and got NO Connection. Added the Gnutella.Net file back to the Apps. Folder and it Connected Immediately. Not a good Idea to come in here and Mislead Members about something you may not be totally familiar with.
