My limewire will not connect it just stays on the first bar. I've tryed uninstalling it and deleting all the files and downloading it again. Ive tryed changing the settings like someone suggested in another thread. Ive looked at my firewall and its letting limewire through. It didnt work for a couple of weeks then last week it started working but only for a day now its broke again. Ive also downloaded frostwire just to see if it connects and it connects fine so i uninstalled frostwire. Can someone help me i'm gonna kill it if it dosent start working lol helppp meeee!!!! oh and i dont speak computer so put it into simple words none of this IPS directory blah blah

Why not use Frostwire. You say It works fine and then you go and Uninstall it??? It's the Same as LW. Use it and Be Happy.

Otherwise try these suggestions By Birdy.

Another suggestion is to close LW, install FrostWire & if it connects, then close it down, and redownload lime wire i had the same problem for weeks and i downloaded frostwire and it connected and then deleted frost wire and redownloaded lime wire and it works like a champ,good luck,Doug
