I have tried uninstall, re-install with deletion of app data, have tried adding mew service for Lwire and introducing it as a rule - its all a bit weird please help

All the bars need to be green...My first instinct says it's AOL that is causing this to happen as they are anti p2p and will throttle and/or block your connection...

But you could give Port Forwarding a try and see how you go as your modem/router has a Nat Firewall within....

These are your instructions....

Another suggestion is to close LW, install FrostWire & if it connects, then close it down, and redownload lime wire i had the same problem for weeks and i downloaded frostwire and it connected and then deleted frost wire and redownloaded lime wire and it works like a champ,good luck,Doug
