Default "Starting Connection" Please help

Ok, ever since I purchased Pro it has said "starting connection". I have deleted the gnutella thing like you guys recommended so my pc could find it again? I have deleted all versions of Limewire from my computer and uninstalled and reinstalled it onto my computer and it STILL says starting connection. There is a firewall symbol in front of the globe on the Limewire program but I am unaware of how to turn off the firewall or allow Limewire to be run with a firewall. I am very illiterate on computers so it may be easy but I do not know how. Please help" Seahawkfan

When upgrading to Pro, it's a good idea to delete the 'entire' LW preferences folder. If still problems then post back: System details - help us to help you (click on blue link)

Remember, one or a combination of these suggestions very often gets one back connected: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...t-connect.html

Default Firewall issue

I am almost positive that it is a firewall issue but am unsure how to enable LW on it. I am not sure how much antivirus or firewalls I have. How do I check it?

Only 'one' software firewall should be enabled at a time. Windows Firewall - LimeWire or and see User Cant Connect - LimeWire
