![]() i have limewire pro, used to have the free version which worked fine untill a few months ago. it had just one green bar and didn't turn up any search results. i tried all the fixes and ended up getting pro. now i have the same problem again. i have tried all the fixes over and over again. i have vista basic belkin 54g router (im not wirelessly connected to it) 1gb of RAM plenty of disk space broadband im at home latest version of java im not sure who my provider is, possibly virgin :-S when i went to http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ it said my test worked dont think i have other p2p sharing programs i see the brick wall but i did before when it worked i have avast! and windows firewall but i have let limewire through them both and even tried it when they are disabled. i have also tried it when the belkin 54g firewall is disconnected. i live in england any help would be great thanks =] |

After you deleted the preferences folder, did you have to go through LW's setup wizard all over again? Have you tried port forwarding for your router? I don't know the model of your router, but if you go to this site you can find your router in the list, then select LW from the programs list & you'll find step by step instructions.
