hi..it seems that i cannot connect to limewire network.cannot download songs anymore, started a week ago, still the same.tried to uninstall and install but still the same.help!

I got tired of trying to fix LimeWire Pro with all these sugestions that didn't work, so I went to FrostWire & it works great. It has a turbo charged connection on a cable modem with superfast downloads...Been using LimeWire for years & never thought i would use anything else, as it always worked awsome for me, but I gotta say FrostWire is pretty cool so far..

Sounds like the gnutella.net file was out of date. Probably if you tried LW now, it may connect fine, if not, copying the FrostWire Gnutella.net file across to LW's preferences folder & replacing the older one would probably do the trick. This issue is affecting a lot of users.

BTW FrostWire had this identical problem a year or two ago.

Default gnutella.net file was out of date!
AWWSOME,
Deleted the gnutelle.file from LimeWire Application Data.
I copied the gnutelle.file from the FrostWire App. Data file & pasted into LW Application Data file & Limewire Pro now works!....
