Thats some crap free 4.18.8 works......unless i can figure out why guess ill have to use the crappy free version or buy it.

Not sure if it will work for you, but I had a problem like yours. I re-installed java se and now mine works. It still says fire wall detected, but it gets full green bars and I can search now. Hopefully it works for you...
