![]() I purchased Limewire Pro over a year ago, maybe 2 years ago. I need to find out why my Limewire will not work despite the fact I have done everything in my power to get it to connect. I originally installed on G4 Silver tower dual processor Tiger which was updated to the latest version No problems for a long time. Then I bought an IMac a few weeks ago Tried to install Limewire over Christmas I go through a Lynksis Router and have entered all appropriate information and tried through various methods to no avail. I am getting ready to have the tower over hauled and have been setting up the IMac to carry on in its place. As a real purchaser of Limewire Pro and having paid, I expect real help from the company itself. I have read these forums and am not the only one. The email address at the time of purchase???? I have no idea, as company vice president, I had many emails at the time, have tried ti entered them, but I don't believe Limewire has my email and I would never be able to get past that point on their website. Limewire, I am asking you to get in touch with me personally as my problem with you is not the general publics problem to solve, but yours. I paid 80 dollars and I want to speak with you, when you email me please leave a correct phone number. Sincerely a real customer Customer: ArsonAudio |

![]() nearly 3 years ago and have never had one stitch of trouble from 4.12.6 and then I did some firmware upgrades and a couple other new installs. Limewire worked fine until I had a Quicktime problem and had to re-install all system software. When I re-installed Limewire it no longer worked at all. On my first computer I never had to fool with the Linksys router as the uPnP was working fine. Now the original computer will not connect as well as the new iMac. Tried to work it through the router, "0" connection. I want to speak with a qualified employee of this company and resolve this issue as I have bank records as to the purchase and I am 100% confident that Limewire accepted my money as payment for their software. |

![]() I'd like to make a few Points here. Firstly, this is the Gnutella help Forums, Not the Limewire Forums. Everyone that helps here are Unpaid Volunteers and have Nothing to do with LW other than maybe using the program. On to your issue. If you purchased a Pro version 2-3 years ago, All new Updates and Support has expired, as this is Only offered for 6 mnths or 12 mnths.(See my attachment in post #2) You can continue to use that Pro Version for ever, you just won't get any Updates. Doesn't really matter if you do have Bank Docs. There is NO Lifetime Subscription. If you did buy an Authintic Version of Pro, your bank reciept should read Limewire LLC. Anything other than that, then you were Scammed. Again, LW has NEVER been $80.00 USD. What you should have done was back up the Pro Installer. If it's expired and once gone, then your out of luck. Only thing to do is Re-purchase or Use the Free Basic Version. If you want to take this further, you can try the Links below. www.limewire.org or LimeWire Forums ![]() Last edited by Remoc; December 29th, 2008 at 05:24 PM. |

![]() 2-3 years ago, buying Pro cost US$18.88 for 6 months of support & updates. Last year (around Aug/Sept) LW.org increased the price & offered an extended version with 12 months support & updates. They do occasionally offer a cheaper version with no support or updates. Once your 6 month support period finishes, your email is automatically removed from their databases. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/85807-post2.html As for notifications of your support period nearing an end (if you are a genuine Pro customer), they are reasonably frequent; Upgrading to V 4.18 |
