Default Connection Problems - Quick Question

Hello everyone....since i'm new to this, please excuse any stupid questions!!

i've been using LW for quite a while now and as of a couple of days ago started experiencing these connection problems...with the following error message everytime I attempt to search for new audio files....

LIMEWIRE IS CURRENTLY CONNECTING TO THE NETWORK. YOUR SEARCH MAY NOT RETURN MANY RESULTS UNTIL YOU ARE FULLY CONNECTED TO THE NETWORK.

I'm not sure if this is a part of the firewall issue, but i don't think so, since i have put LW as one of the exceptions on my firewall program.....any help would be greatly appreciated....thanks!!

It means you are either not fully connected or not connected to the gnutella network. Something is affecting your connection. That could be any number of things.
Did you consider the problem might be with your router or modem. They usually have NAT port protection which behaves similarly to a firewall.
