Unable to Connect to Limewire
Help ... I have been a user of limewire for years, and this past week I have not been able to connect. I am using Windows XP and have LimeWire version 4.14.10 This is driving me crazy!!! The little box in the left hand coner, the graphs are RED (4 are red, the first one is green). But it never changes. When I look at my connections, I see lots of Host addresses, but the status stays as connecting. The time keeps changing seconds, and then when it hits 10 or 11, it drops off and a new host number appears. When I try to search a song, it just sits there till I run out of time.
I need HELP!!! I have tried the following ... Make sure that your firewall is configured to allow LW. Check out this sticky: Setting up an exception for LimeWire in your software firewall But when you click on the (blue words), you get error msg - the page cannot be found. Have you tried the other fixes here (click on link): If LW Will Not Connect
If nothing there helps, please post back with your system details.
