![]() I don't know, it's probably just really bad weather... I mean, the wind is TERRIBLE where I am, and it doesn't show any signs of letting up anytime soon. I could swear, if the wind wanted to, it could blow my satellite dish right off the pole. Because it's not just Gnutella I'm having problems with... Downloads from the entire Internet are extremely slow as well. Of course, I don't know... Maybe the Internet itself is falling apart all around everybody. And, of course, if THAT were the case, we'd be talking WORLDWIDE PANIC!!! I'll try Vuze and see what I turn up there, then I'll drop to an earlier version of Java... although I doubt that my version of Java would be causing any problems, if the ENTIRE Internet is being dragged down along with Gnutella... Maybe the deconstruction of the Internet has begun. |

![]() I have been in contact with HughesNet, and they say they do not block any network, including the Gnutella network... Maybe that was a lie. Maybe they just started blocking that network when I first experienced the problem, and they're just denying it to save their skins. *******s! |

![]() But after trying everything and failing miserably, I suppose there's one thing left for me to do: Format the hard drive and start over again. Maybe the problem's with a corrupt system file, and flushing the hard drive would essentially force it to work. So I guess that's it, guys. See you later! |
