I had 4.18 and loved it, upgraded to 5.0 and hated it, already had PRO, but when I got rid of 5.0 and reinstalled 4.18 I lost my PRO status, and I cannot search for any songs. It just will not search at all. Not one song. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to get PRO back without paying again for it but mainly how to get this 4.18 to search for songs that I type in? And I am not looking for obscure music, I type in Elvis Presley and still don't get any hits at all. Thanks in advance for any help.

Thank you. I just went back to 4.18 via a link somewhere on the forums here. The PRO, I bought and it still has me down as paid, but will install it only on the 5.0 version. I have been a PRO subscriber for a few months, but last week when I went back to 4.18 earlier, it did not show my PRO subscription. Anyway, let me try to tackle the search problems now that I am back to the older and better version

I just went to the tools--options---searching, then unchecked the box marked Show License or whatever it said exactly, and now it works fine---thanks very much, I appreciate your help, birdy

Go to your Pro download page & click on the 'Get LimeWire Classic' link on the left hand side of the page... you should be able to downoad a 4.14.8 Pro from there

If it doesn't show as Pro once you've installed, shut down LW & restart - it should show as Pro after that.
