Can't get Limewire Pro to start (it just hangs at starting connection)

Hi there ,
My name is Ron . I have Lime wire Pro 4.18.8 and I can't get it to start , it just hangs at starting connection . I have Vista Home Premium -32 bit. My computer is a Dell XPs 420. I run Kaspersky Internet Security 8.0.0454 on my system .I've uninstalled now four time , and reinstalled the same and still can not get Limewire to start . Thanks for your time .

I cannot connect. I had the free version & upgraded to the PRO. Download went fine, but it will not launch. it wont even give an error. I run XP w/ Windows Live OneCare security

All exceptions are good. Clicking on the Limewire icon still does nothing

When I open my LW, it blows through the beginning portions of the program load, but always hangs up at the "Searching NYC for Limes" section. I've actually left it to load for a good twenty minutes, but it just sits there....mocking me...I've un and re installed both LW and the newest Java, and still, no dice....Help?
