This is the very thing that brought me here. I've had LW for quite a while and never had a problem. Went to boot it up for the first time in a while and no matter how long I would wait, it would not connect.
Went to and completely through the tip thread on what to do if LW will not connect and finally was able to find the source of my problem-
The gnutella.net file. Evidently it was bad or corrupt.
I was able to locate it, delete it, replace it with the new one downloaded and saved from rapidshare. I then shut down the computer, restarted it, manually connected LW to the network and now everything is fine.
I don't want to start a whole new thread, but 2 questions if someone can answer them.......
What would be wrong with the file?
I noticed a file size difference between the one I deleted (larger) and the new one I uploaded (smaller)-Am I missing something with the new file?
Thanks. |
