 limewire 5 wont "start up" okay well... i have windows vista. and ive installed the limewire 5 before using aol, but now i use wireless NETGEAR. even when i did use my aol, after the first couple times of me successfully starting up and using my imewire, it wont start up any more. ive sent the bug twice, and ive even uninstalled and reinstalled and downloaded the limewire. but it still fails to "start up" i appreciate any help. thanks.  |

 1. Right-click the LW shortcut on desktop & choose to run as administrator. 2. Delete the LW preferences whilst LW is closed, see instructions where to find here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/genera...der-vista.html 3. Else, see If LW 5 Will Not Connect 4. You might also see about changing compatibility mode to XP via right-clicking the program. |
