Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

Connection problems for 1 user Hi, We have a problem with 1 user on our home PC. 3 other users have full connectivity via limewire, all bars are green. The fourth user cannot gain access, the first bar is green, everything else is red. I have tried to answer the questions about my system in the attched document. Hope someoen can help me. Hi Robert, I had already been through the stickies to try ans resolve the problem. I thought I had aincluded neccessary information in the word attachment, so am unsure what else to add. Limewire is working for 3 users accounts on the PC but not for a forth, yet everyone has same acecess rights. Thanks ian |

Make sure Vista's firewall is disabled. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/genera...on-worked.html http://www.gnutellaforums.com/genera...onnection.html Make sure both account LW's are not attempting to connect using the same port. Your router will reserve particular ports for each account & block the other account for listening from those same ports. If LW 4 Will Not Connect (click on the blue link) BT Home Hub Explored & make sure the firmware is up to date: BT Home Hub Unofficial F.A.Q (probably need to reboot router after update) Then see if LW's connection improves.
