![]() You might be waiting a while to get a reply from a 4.9.10 user, so let me try & help in the meantime ![]() 4.9 versions are ancient - 2005 I think (funny, LW's changelog seems to have stopped at 4.15.3 in 2007 - maybe any version prior to that is in a black hole ![]() I have a 4.9.23 installer (not much older than your version) - I just fired it up & it wouldn't connect. But once I replaced the gnutella.net file then it's up & going fine using Java 1.6.0_14 (see image below). ![]() So try replacing the gnutella.net file as shown here (click on link): If LW 4 Will Not Connect & see if things improve ![]() If you want to update your Java, the current version's 1.6.0_15: http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp Download the JRE offline installer. Remove all othe versions of Java currently installed, via Control Panel. Install the latest update & then restart your computer. If you're interested in using a later version of LW then there's a link here to a 4.16 version which is pretty good: Downgrading to LimeWire 4 from 5 & resuming incomplete downloads Last edited by birdy; August 7th, 2009 at 12:08 AM.
