where is this link specific to Vista for deleting LW's preferences folder? I also have the same problem connecting. I have windows vista. You said that you'd just updated LW - 4.16.6 is quite an old version (Oct 2008).

Since the people posting in this thread are using LW 5 the advice given will be different to someone using LW 4.
Maybe use the forum search to look for If LW 4 Will Not Connect

Or have a look in the Vista section for a sticky about deleting LW's preferences folder.
