Exclamation Unable to receive incoming UDP messages...

I recently downloaded Limewire 5.4.6 to my new computer and have manually setup port forwarding via my wireless modem/router. I am able to achieve a connection with Limewire, however, I am unable to receive incoming UDP messages which in turn doesn't allow me to download any files.

I have turned ALL firewall programs (computer and modem/router) or setup exceptions for the Limewire program. Yet Limewire still says it is behind a firewall and unable to receive incoming UDP messages.

How do I fix this problem?

When port forwarding, did you choose to make the exception for both TCP & UDP? It is actually more effective to do a separate port forwarding for each.

Also, in your computer's firewall, both TCP & UDP exceptions for the port ranges should be created (may need to create sub-rules to do this.) Setting up an exception for LimeWire in your software firewall (click in link)

You may wish to check this If LW 5 Will Not Connect as sometimes things like Advanced settings -> Performance might affect things.
