Default Mike - LW 5.5.7 & will not connect

Hi I have been using Limewire for years without too many problems but last week downloaded version 5.5.7 and now it tells me I am not connected to the internet even though I am. I have checked my firewall in Panda and connection is allowed. I am on XP Pro, any suggestions please.

Thanks

Mike

Start here If LW 5 Will Not Connect Also try removing the firewall rule for LW & re-adding it to Panda (for both udp & tcp). Your XP firewall is off right?

Thank you my Lord (-: Turned off permission and reset, now connected. Simple but effective, as I get older (66) the brain gets slower but I will remember that.
