Why not try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included 2nd last post of page.) Nothing to lose if you follow instructions. But most likely issues will be closer to being solved. You will need to redo your settings after doing this.
