Bandwidth Shaping aka Curtailing P2P Traffic Rylee09 & redrooster
If your ISP is "bandwidth shaping" your P2P connection in order to discourage P2P usage then there is only one thing you can really do, find another ISP.
You see, ISPs the world over have been put under pressure by their respective governments (lobbied for by the record and film industry organisations) to either ban or severely restricts their customers' P2P usage.
And, suffice to say, redrooster is probably lucky that they admitted to him that they were blocking P2P communications because most ISP either arbitrarily invoke their Fair Usage Policy (aka FUP) or simply will not admit to supplying you with a restricted service.
There might be a temporary way around your ISPs restrictions but as soon as they find out about your work around they will block you again.
