Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

![]() HAve not used lime wire for a while, have LM 4.12.6 installed bc the newer versions took WAY TOO LONG to connect and get any leaves at all. this one was working good...Now I go back to use it and it will not connect/Start the program at all. running Vista DSL Verizon w/msn (ISP) Have reciently updated/renewed Norton I Sec.program (only one running)but worked on last version... and I dont see and blocks on the settings. ran the http:// ******6346 test and did not connect my lynksis router program has changed to "Network Magic with Cisco" basic version?? please help me get this working.. but what ever I have to change I want to be able to put back if it dosent work???!!! ![]() If LW 4 Will Not Connect (click on the blue link). From memory I think Cisco use a rebranded version of Linksys, but I might be mistaken. If you cannot reach the test page, sounds to me like that port is being blocked (probably many ports are being blocked), either by your software firewall or your router. You need to make a 'fresh' exception for LW in your firewall. As for the router, I have a suspicion you may need to port forward the device.
