Default Blocked by the Wall???
New Win 7 32 bit system.
3 megs of ram
Limewire 4.14.10
connected via satellite.
Avira virus protection.
I've gone to control panel and firewall settings and selected to allow Limewire to pass both in public and private. I don't know that I can allow it to pass Avira and still check incoming for viruses? Please direct me to get the connection established. Thanks

Some satellite services can be iffy for p2p file sharing. Depends on particular service.

1. Reinstall Java, use this technique: Reinstallation Technique though ignore the part about reinstalling LW I guess.

2. Replace the gnutella.net file with a fresh one, as described here: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...t-connect.html. Try the other tips also.

The download for LW gave me a "forbidden" message, but I'm trying the rest of this suggestion. I'll let you know.
