This is not really a connection problem.

Depending on your operating system & other details, there may be more than one reason for this problem. Such as a Java memory or permissions issue.

Can you help us with answers to these questions:
System details - help us to help you (click on blue link)
And also these questions:
* How many files are you Sharing? (click on My Files, then Public Shared tab, figure is shown far right)
* How many files are listed in your Library? (click on My Files, then Library tab, figure is shown far right)
* How many files are in your incomplete folder? (you can find this either by looking at download window left-side, or going to incomplete folder & seeing total of files.)
